Elaine is back after being tortured but will not give up trying to remember her past and what she was. She is determined to free herself and not forsake her original crew. I really enjoyed reading this. Mr.Gordon includes so much in his stories you try not to think about it too much because its pleasure reading. Only problem is he makes you , he combines fantasy with facts that make you wonder. Mind control,manipulation you don't need machines for that.Scary,soon your talking to yourself out loud Yikes! Oh I just love it better than a movie at times. Wanting more Oh yes! Will we get it ? I hope so hmm let me write a letter to the Manipulator.

Happiness, joy, sorrow, triumph ,love and hate so many emotions you feel when you read Oceans of Red . I enjoyed volumes one and two because the characters were growing into who they should be. Remy accepts being the Chosen One now in Oceans Three . Her siblings Greg and Shane help her acquire an army to help save the world from Lilith. However when she tries to unite with Daelen and the Collective she feels as Daelen is trying to control her so she cuts him off without learning any more. Is it control or love? She finds a new attraction in Ryan a soldier who feels very protective of her.

I'm thinking oh here we are getting so much in this story a little bit of everything love war and hopefully peace . Who will save the day I can't wait to find out in Invading Hell.

The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

Here I haven't finished the Iron Fey series and I went and jumped head first into Ms. Kagawa's Vampire series . I sure wasn't disappointed at all . I didn't think I would be. I think tonight before I go to sleep I'll be reading The Eternity Cure. Immortally Amazing. Julie Kagawa writes a truly wonderful vampire story even though there are so many out there this one can stand alone. In a land where Vampires rule the cities and humans are kept inside for food and pets because the Red Lung disease killed both vamps and humans . One Master Vampire ruled in Covington though there were a few still left. They are a dying breed because when they create offspring there is a chance the offspring will become rabid because of the disease . Rabids live outside the city and feed off the humans until they expire. Allison Setemoko belonged to a gang of four stumbled underground outside the city one night and found a stash of food. Food was scare so she took her gang to get the canned goods but night fell and they were caught by rabids and attacked . Allison was lucky a Master found her and gave her a choice even thought she hated all vampires and what they did she said yes when asked to live as one. Now she must learn to survive as a monster she hates claiming to herself she will not bae as heartless as them . With Kanin the master vamp who turned her to help train her maybe she could survive and find out why he was hiding and not claiming a city and running for his life instead. A group of people searching for a cure trying to stay alive and not get infected by rabid creatures on their way the promise land. I enjoyed it loved all the characters also loved that just because groups get labeled doesn't mean everyone in the group is the same. All people can choose to be different . Thanks Ms. Kagawa .

Transitional Elements by Adrienne Gordon

When I read books by this author I always look for the other meaning that is really behind the story he writes . He is so creative that way its what I enjoy about his books. Like getting two for one. It might be a fantasy story but there is a purpose that makes you think about reality and the life we live today. Jonadon is sort of a terminator sent to planets to infiltrate them finding out their weakness so they can be taken over and replaced with a Malsun and be ruled or destroyed. Since Jonadon has lost his love his wife he has no hope so he doesn't care who gets hurt or how many die in the process. Usually he gets a female to fall in love with him and when the time comes for the Malsun to take over he turns the other way and just leaves. This time he meets his match Hajlin seems to know his plans but has hope spending time with him he will see that what he is doing is not right. When the time comes what will this traitor do? Will he choose love over duty did he learn hope and faith from Hajlin's people? Guess you better read it . Story is not long and really good you may get something different out of it than I did. I would love to know what you thought.

Ghost Diaries case 1 by Willow Cross

Sarah was a young innocent girl who becomes ill after her father buys her a silver trinket box. He trades some food for the box from a strange unkempt fellow who seems to think Sarah is perfect for the trinket box. As we read the entries to a few diaries it seems as if a demon was using her for his pleasure. Making her life seem odd and as if she was going crazy she talked to him he had a name .She ended up being unkempt and evil like and all the help left them there alone just her and her mother and father. Since this is the first case I'm anxious to see if the other cases are related . Maybe the trinket box is still out there circulating and possessing others. A friend of mine gave me a silver metal box it disappeared a while ago I'm not sure I want to find it now. I enjoyed reading the diary entries makes the book different then others out there. As always Willow Cross has me guessing ,was it real was it fake ? Who and what are in Case 2 of Ghost Diaries I'm waiting cause I'm possessed to reading Willow Cross.

First you have a serial killer and two typical teenage girls Julie and Katie. One night playing with a Ouija board call up a victim ghost and follow her to the killer. The girls feel no one will believe them its their old bus driver so they stay quite. Katie doesn't mention a word even after her best friend Julie gets kidnapped by the killer. Instead she sets off with the ghost and a friend,from the spirit world I guess Edward to find her hopefully in time. The killer hears a voice telling him what to do. Get more humans to put to work making metal creatures . Must admit I was confused kept waiting for it all to be in the killers head . So now I'm traveling to Haven to get my answers. I did stay up late reading it ,I did enjoy it and I hope to find out if Julie is still alive and what purpose the metal creatures play and how it all joins together .

The Horror Challenge by @JH GLaze

A group of short stories These are great stories for right before its time to turn off the light. I found though reading one just wasn't good enough. They start off with a Spooky Piano giving a woman who lost her mother some financial help plus good memories. To a man traveling to space in a his last attempt to keep his smelly old comfy chair and save the world while watching Star Trek reruns . I wonder was he wearing a red suit? Ends with a Damsel in Distress being a creature a man saves of course the humans are ignorant to creatures of other worlds. My favorite is Cable Bill these are great to read while cooking dinner also I shouldn't burn anything think I'll save Horror Challenge Two just for that. Grab a copy for yourself .
